Xciting Future 2

 

Hi hope you are well.
Following on from my first Xciting Future mix recording, I've recorded another session of positive club music.

Featuring some brilliant cross-over tracks from Sam Feldt, 99 Souls and Robin Schulz. As well as some great club bangers that will get any party going.

I really hope you enjoy the sounds and the vibe I've created here.
I'm already sourcing out tracks for the third program in this series, I really enjoy creating these sets. So I hope you enjoy listening to them as much.

Session 006

Hi! Hope you're well. So close to Christmas, so excited.
More excited by the amount of cool music that is out there at the moment.
This weeks Session is an hour or so of grungy techno and tech house. Full of energy, weird synths and pounding drums.
I do hope you enjoy this trip into a slight warehouse rave sort-off sound.

In my teens I loved the sound of artists like The Prodigy, The Chemical Brothers, Underworld and Faithless.
 Not to mention Orbital and The Avalanches.
Stuff that was a little bit different but still immensely popular.
This set kind of reminds me of those kind of sounds a little bit. Obviously with a modern twist.

Xciting Future

Hi hope your week was good. We are edging ever closer to Christmas and of course 2016.
I thought I'd do a more upbeat session for the party season. So I've mixed up some future house tracks that are great for that party vibe.
With it's more melodic house style, which mixes big bass-lines with full on synth rifts and sometimes teamed up with mesmerising vocals. Future house is brilliant for parties.

I hope you enjoy this mix.

Session 005

Hi thanks again for browsing my little bit of the internet world. Excited to bring you Session 005' a blend of 4 different house genres and a touch of techno.

We start with some progressive house, not the EDM type, old style progressive house. The progression through drums and bass-lines and then leads is what sets this genre apart. Building up into a climax, a peak to make you feel good.

Then we move onto deep house which gives us more swing and some jazz to the set. Look out for Eli Escobar - N.Y. So Hi and great example of cool swinging deep house.

We switch gears again with a bit of pounding techno and some groovy tech house. Finishing nicely for your main room DJ to take over and give you the energy I've been teasing you with.

I really hope you enjoy my warm-up style set and the example I give of how I like build up a DJ mix
sometimes.

Session 004

Hi thank you for having a look at my latest mix recording Session 004. This week features some nice underground house and techno for your ears.

I wanted to expose some good artists that I have sent me some cool promos.
We start with a cracking track from Riva Starr. A groovy tech house track that features a familiar sample, you'll probably instantly know where it came from.

Then I feature some cool underground tracks that I hope you'll like.

Later there is an awesome tech house track from Prok & Fitch called Tears.
Look out for Vaim also with Way To The East, a pretty cool track with a immense drop.

Xperimental 001 and 002

I must apologise to my close followers on Mixcloud. I also have another series there called Xperimental and I've not thought to mention it here.

This series features more abstract sounds, more down-tempo and relaxing music. Obviously more experimental music to evoke deeper feelings. I feel these mix recordings take the listener on more of a journey around the world.
