I'd been a fan of trance for years. Especially during the commercial boom of the genre at the end of the 90's.
Big tracks like 'Sandstorm' ,'Time To Burn' ,'9pm Till I Come' and so on, were big favourites of mine.
The energy, the beauty and the shear euphoria that some of the top trance tracks create is hard to match.
That being said, I still found myself swaying in the direction of house music and kind of left trance behind.
Until recently! Having spent a bit of time talking with one of my friends at my day job (work) I thought to myself I should check trance out again! I'm glad I did.
An Old Friend.
It was like catching up with an old friend. Technology ultimately has changed the way trance sounds, but the energy, beauty and euphoria is still there, bigger and better than ever.So I collected a few tracks, got behind the decks and mixed a little mix up. With all the elements you'd expect from a trance set.
